These multi dwelling refurbishment projects used standard materials, however design requirements by the Architect added to the level of detail required. Constant communication with the Architect was crucial in ensuring a high level of detail.
Simple standard materials such as ecoply barrier being installed as part of the new ground floor cladding cavity system. The use of ecoply not only enabled us to maintain weather tightness throughout the duration of the project, but it also provided additional bracing strength to the existing dwellings.
With all materials being ordered and delivered to sit well in advance, material delays were avoided and subsequently this project was delivered on budget and on time. More importantly, the client was satisfied with the results.
